Firefli & Apple Health User Guide
Firefli uses ROOK to securely connect with Apple Health so you can sync health and fitness data from your iPhone and Apple Watch.
What Data Firefli Uses:
Steps, Workouts, Heart Rate, Sleep, Activity rings and related fitness metrics
How to Connect Apple Health
Open the Firefli Fitness app.
Go to Settings or Connected Apps.
Select Connect Apple Health.
You will be redirected through the ROOK authorization process.
Review and approve the requested Apple Health permissions.
Tap Allow to complete the connection.
Once connected, your eligible health data begins syncing each time you open the apps together.
Manage Permissions
Where to find them: Health app > Profile picture (top right) > Apps > Firefli Fit
Open the Health app on your iPhone.
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
Select Apps, then choose Firefli Fitness.
Enable or disable specific data categories.
Open the Firefli app afterward so it can sync. This requires the Apple Health app, not Apple Fitness; they are separate apps with different permissions.
Manage App Updates
Option #1
Open the App Store app.
Tap your photo or account icon at the top right.
Scroll down to see App Updates.
Tap Update next to an app, or tap Update All.
Options #2
Open the App Store app.
Search Firefli Connect OR Firefli Fit.
You will see Update next to the app Logo.
Tap Update next to an app.
The App will update and hopefully enable you to remove Apple Health.
Troubleshooting
Data is not syncing: Confirm Apple Health permissions are on, verify the data exists in Apple Health, check your internet connection, force-close and reopen Firefli Fitness, then disconnect and reconnect Apple Health.
Apple Watch data is missing: Make sure your Watch is paired with your iPhone, its activity is syncing into Apple Health, and Firefli has permission to read those metrics.
Connection failed: Restart your iPhone, update Firefli Fitness, then retry the connection.
